How Excited am I???

***Okay let me just say, that I am having the hardest time coming up with 7 awe-summm things about myself....I got this award like forever ago...okay maybe not forever, but about a month, and dang if I can't go on an on about how awe-summ I am! HA! But I'm trying...give me a break***

MY FIRST AWARD!!! Tell me how excited I am. Thanks to Lady Di over at The Daily Dose of Mama Drama She's awesome!!! And like their title says, if you are a mama, you have drama. And she's definitely got some great posts to check out!

The rules for this Awe-Summm award are to reveal 7 awe-summm things about themselves and then bestow the award on 7 other Awe-Summm bloggers!

So dang...I have to come up with 7 things Awe-summm about myself! Hmmm....

1.) My life is an open book. I don't have anything to hide, I am free to share anything and everything about me or what I know or don't know. Which is awe-summm because it makes me a. easy to talk to and b. easy to know! Want to know anything about me? Just ask!

2.) I'm a huge sap, and I wear my heart on my sleeve, some say that isn't such a good thing...but I think it's awe-summm because then I have the ability to feel compassion as well as sympathy and empathy! And because of that, others benefit because of it, because I am proactive with my empathy/compassion I am an active member of great organizations!

3.) I can go someplace one time and if I am paying attention, I know exactly where to go the next time....kind of like a photographic memory only with streets! Now if that only worked out better for me in High School or College!

4.) I have this uncanny ability to end up putting almost the same colors on as my mom. We will make plans to go out to dinner or something, and I will go and put on a red top and white pants and show up at her house and she is either wearing the same color scheme or opposite, like white shirt and red pants. And on top of that...we say that same thing at almost the same time....like we are in stereo, the hubs laughs! Okay it maybe not be "awe-summm" but it sure is really funny!

5.) I am the best at anything I do....at least I try to be. I am the best employee, the best friend to my friends, I am the best wife, daughter, family member and most of all I am the best mom I can be, if you take infinity to the depths of forever and beyond....that is how much I love being a mom and how much I love my boys. My family and friends are the most important things to me and I will defend them with my life!

6.) I'll do anything for anyone, I will give you the shirt off my back or the socks off my feet if you ask for it, that is until you take advantage, then it's all over with!

7.) I'm always happy. Even when I am down and upset and cry and anything like that, I don't take it with me wherever I go. Everyone knows me for my smile and my positive, happy-go-lucky, optimistic view on life. I am easy going, and my goal in life is to make people smile, hope to create a memory or two and have everyone share just one happy memory about me so that I can live on forever! I'll never be famous, but I want to always be remembered in a positive way!

Now passing it on to 7 others....

And Thanks to Alicia over at It Ain't easy being cheesy , she's awesome, you should read some of her post, OMG they have me peeing in my pants sometimes....and her dogs...HA, they are HIL-A-RIOUS! Okay so anyway, she gave me these two awards......

Summertime

While everyone is talking about how summer is coming to an end, and I guess it is if you have kids in school...but it's just starting to heat up! Sheesh it was at least 101 here today!!

Anyway, this is something I wrote awhile ago...a little creative writing, just a little something to hopefully take your mind to a new place if only for a moment.

Thoughts of summertime, the longer days, the warmer weather. Seeing the glassy ocean sparkling like diamonds in the snow. The warm sun upon your face, sliding your feet into the sand and feeling the coolness underneath. The soft breeze across your face, whispering gently in your ear. Walking along the shore, feeling the cool, cloudy water lapping at your feet and ankles over and over again. As the water retreats you feel the sand slide gently beneath your feet.

If you look carefully you may see some of the ocean's treasures in leaves behind on the shore with each crash of a new wave. The seashells, the sea glass, looking over and over for that one sand dollar that may be worth millions. That one perfect sand dollar, untouched by the waves and the sea gulls. If you slide your hands into the sand a wave just broke upon you can feel the sand crabs burrowing through your fingers.

Walking along to the pier, as the tide draws out to it's lowest point you will see the muscles that cling to the posts of the pier. Spending each and every day trying to survive the powerful ocean waves. Interesting pieces of driftwood laying upon the shore, brought there from the violent winter past. Drying and contorting into different shapes in the sun. People picking through it, looking for that one perfect piece to suit their needs.

Dogs running joyfully along the beach, playing in the waves, chasing pieces of driftwood or a ball, with their owners not so far behind. Back along the strand, the concrete blocks, you can see the squirrels coming out into the sunshine, blinking their sleepy eyes, all the while, completely aware of their dangerous surroundings. If you look out over the glistening ocean, you will see the pelicans hovering, flying all in a line, just inches above the water, looking for a tasty snack.

As the day slowly comes to an end, the sun sinking in the sky, the breeze picks up, blowing your hair across your face, shoulders and back. People leaving the beach with their children and all their belongings. Couples staying longer to see the sunset as they nuzzle closer. Surfers waiting in the water for that one last perfect wave out at the point, just one last wave to end the day. The ice water from coolers being emptied in the sand. Lifeguards closing up their shacks to go home, only to come back tomorrow for another gorgeous, hot summer day on a California Beach in Ventura....

Some call it beautiful, I....

...Well I just call it HOME!

New Assignment....

So since I am home for a few weeks, I'll write on a few of them...but for whatever reason I can't get the links to work from the inspirations page....so...head on over to MamaKats to read what everyone else is saying!

The Prompts:

1.) My animals are making me nuts.
(inspired by Jody from Take Me As I Am).

I am the cat woman...I always figured I will be known as the crazy old lady at the top of the hill with 50 cats. You know, one of those people who leaves their riches to their cat...yeah that would be me! Don't get me wrong, I love me some puppers too....cutie little smoosh face puppers, Bull puppers, Boxers, even a pug or two....any pupper that is friendly and lovely and lets me pet him and he doesn't smell funny! And I love to talk to them all dumb...and they have no idea...they run around, jumping at your face, you talk all lame and stupid...."Him's such a good boy aren't you? Yes him is"....and they just are so happy to have your attention, and probably in their mind they are saying God you are an idjit! Just pet me, feed me, throw my ball, and leave me alone!

Anyway....my poor little Tigger, who used to be the object of all my annoyance...and now since I've been home, it's been Petey, who was The Hubs cat, and now he has resorted to being mine. Now since I've been home and had to lay in bed for 2 days straight, he kept me company, and he's my little buddy when it's nap time, he lays next to me and keeps me warm in the winter...but OMG! If he hasn't been driving me nuts!!!

The cat is a long haired cat...and he cleans himself, that's great...better he do it than me. And I don't mind when he is cleaning himself, but he has taken almost to like sucking his thumb....LOUDLY! He just licks at his paw. Short. Loud. Wet. LICKS! It's driving me BATTY!!! I can hear it no matter where he is, it's making me neurotic! Sits on the edge of the bed, lick, lick, lick, slurp, lick, slurp, lick. AAARRGGHHHHH!!! Okay so I try to be polite...."Petey, STOP". He looks at me like Wha? So I go back to what I am doing, and he starts up, so I say PETEY! So eventually it resorts to me kicking him off the bed and he runs and hides under the bed and sulks!

Okay so in the middle of the night...he's laying next to me, having a bath...okay good. Fine. I'm going to sleep now. Then I hear it.....lick, lick, lick, slurp, lick, slurp. I open my eyes, and of course can't holler at him because I don't want to wake the Hubs. So I nudge him, he stops, momentarily, then he starts up, so I nudge him a little harder this time...he stops...for a second, and again...OMG I push him off the bed. Just about to fall back to sleep, and I hear it...across the room, he's on the floor. I fling back the covers, ticked, go over to him and pick him up drag him into the bathroom...thinking "Well maybe there is something wrong with his paw". I look, and feel and there is nothing. I turn the light on, (And I am so not a flip the light on in the middle of the night person, that is why we have night lights) So I am flailing all over the place, squinting, cursing the cat for what is going on, I look at his paw, NOTHING! I spread open his little toes....NOTHING, I push out his claws....NOTHING....THERE IS ABOSULTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH HIS PAW!!!

So I proceed to turn off the light and of course all my night vision is now GONE, and I walk, blindly, and trip...LOVELY! Again cursing the cat....I told the Hubs if he doesn't knock it off and soon, I'm going to cut off his paw and throw it at him! and if that doesn't work...I think I have some tabasco in the pantry! =)

4.) How did you break it?
(inspired by Brandy from Not Your Average Soccer Mom)

Knowing me, probably from dealing with the cat!!!

5.) Show us a favorite summer craft.
(inspired by Kristin from The Way It Is)

My favorite summer craft has been on hold for the past week or so due to the surgery. But I am now back in the swing, and will be trying to accomplish a few of my blankets in the next week and a half. I would post a pic, but want Alicia to see it first, since it's for her daughter! Don't worry, it will be on it's way soon!

Thank You....

Okay so who doesn't like to see Thank You? Or hear Thank You for that matter.
And who doesn't love going to get their mail and seeing a nice little envelope and you open it to find this....Aww, I love that, I was taught to send them, I send them on behalf of my boys, and will teach them to send them when they are old enough. It's just the right thing to do and it always makes the person on the other end feel appreciated and wonderful and all warm and fuzzy inside and everything right?
Okay so I go out to the mail the other day and find one of these and my 1st thought was...hmm I didn't send anyone anything....did I? I didn't just randomly send something to one of my friends...I do that sometimes....and it wasn't anyone's birthday, well except my God Son, Brandon's, but I keep forgetting to give his mommy his contribution to his piggy bank and it's sitting right in my purse with a card! Even when she came and brought me a loaf of cheese bread....that was some awesomeness in my tummy!
But I digress...
So I open the card and what falls out but Dr. Timothy Miller's business card. My doc who just did my surgery. It's from his nurse or something, and it says "Thank You for your payment, enclosed you will find your reciept, Best regards, Patty" I thought oh that is too funny! A plastic Surgeon, a world known plastic surgeon at that, and he has his nurse send out Thank You's to his patients for paying for his golf game....err I mean paying for his awesomeness!
So although I am still not thrilled with the way my nose looks, and I may hate him and curse his name for the moment, I know it could have been worse. And the fact that he thanked me for my money! I don't know weather to say "aww that's so nice" or "OMG did he seriously just send me a note of thanks....maybe it should have said 'HAHA Thanks for the opportunity to to mangle your face and keep you out of the sun while I enjoy the money you paid me to play golf in the sun and take trips to Hawaii and such' "
Ahh well...at least he acknowlegdes that I paid and I didn't get some statement with a printed sign that says "Thank You for your Payment"!

It's all in what you pay for....

I wish I never would have gotten this stupid surgery done, I should have just taken my chances with radiation! So I had it done last Tuesday, they took a lesion from my cheek and had to do a skin graph on my nose. So they took the skin from behind my right ear to put on my nose. Now I went back on Friday to have stitches from my cheek removed, and I was so happy, it looks AMAZING! I couldn't be happier with how the scar is minimal and he said if I keep it out of the sun that it should heal and be almost invisible....AWESOME! I can do that!

So I couldn't wait to go today and have this like antiseptic 'bolster' as they called it removed off my nose and the skin graph to see just how awesome it was going to look. Okay can I just say if I ever had any thought in my head before that I was ugly....this really solidifies it...now, I really AM ugly! I won't post a pic for you all to see, it's nasty! And who wants to see that! But seriously I look like I have leprosy!!!! So that is what I am just going to tell everyone....especially the ones who really piss me off, then I'll shake their hand and tell them to have a nice day! =) Although June suggested one that I think I will use as well..."You should see the other guy" HA!
Okay so I went there today with all these high expectations, which I should know better, they only lead to disappointments....so I got all "dolled" up, put make up on, and lip gloss, my hair looked pretty, we were going out to lunch afterwards, and they "unwrapped" my nose to that nastiness and I just cried....cried off all my eye make up, why try to look good right? And the doc that I work with is like replacing faces for US Soldiers who have been bombed or burned in Iraq, and I know that I should be grateful I don't have to have a face replacement like that...but I'm having a hard time with that right now!
So as I am sitting there crying, while the Hubs is telling me I am beautiful and he loves me, my 1st thought...I PAID FOR THIS! I paid to look this crappy! Since the doc doesn't subscribe to be a preferred provider with any insurance I had to pay for this all out of pocket, even though it's plastic surgery out of necessity and not for cosmetic reasons! And now I wait...wait for them to send in a claim, wait for them to process it and pay out any tiny amount that they may decide to cover! Wonderful healthcare we have isn't it?

But yet, look at what I DIDN'T pay for and it looks amazing!! My friend Amanda did a keratin treatment on my hair, I want it as healthy as possible for Locks of Love, so she hooked me up...she took the class to learn how to do it, I am her walking billboard, she did it for free and anytime else I want to have it done she will do it half price...since it is kind of spendy! And I will send anyone and everyone her way! So I get THIS done for FREE!!!!

And look...I'm getting closer and closer to that 10 inch mark!!!
So my hair looks nice, pretty, and almost ready to be cut and sent off to Locks of Love, and I got that done for FREE, yet I paid almost a lung to have someone mangle my face....NICE, what IS this world coming to?

Who is that masked man?

Faster than a line of drool....
More powerful than a tantrum...
Able to leap over a teether (maybe).....

Who is it....it's WOGGLE BOY!! No myth, he really exists!

Christopher: NO He doesn't...that's just my older Brother!

And enough about him...Can you see at all how my top two teeth finally popped through?

Thomas: Christopher you ruined me....you gave away my identity!!! How could you?

Christopher: Aww you love me anyway....

Thomas: I'm only going to admit it when mom is around!
Okay now let me just set the stage for you, because this is a funny story. Okay Grandma bought those "woggles" as Thomas calls them, for his swim classes, and he didn't want a thing to do with them while he swam. He has now taken a liking to them. Now Thomas LOVES to be the center of attention. He put them on Saturday while hangin out on the patio, and he's running around being goofy, and we are coming up with names for him....Dive boy, Diving Man....and you know in the movies it's like they introduce someone and then come in and you hear that "Dun dun DUN" all dramatic....okay so I kept introducing him and then making that noise....and he went onto his little slide thing and climbs up there....stands up and says dun dun DUN! We laughed hysterically, and I kept saying WOGGLE BOY.....Dun Dun DUN! And so he continued! So then I told him he needs to put his arm up in the air, so he was doing that as well.
I thought, oh great I've created a monster....and of course now all the kid needs is a cape flicking in the breeze, and a light shining behind him and he could jump into a room, put his hands on his hips and say dun dun DUN!!!! And maybe then he'll get his own comic strip!

Who's ready for Halloween?

Okay neither am I....who am I kidding, I'm not even ready for next week let alone 2 months from now. BUT....we are attempting to get ready.

We planted some pumpkins....there are "germinating" which is an odd word don't you think? Anything with the word GERM in the beginning of it and it's food....hmmm.

Okay so, Thanks to Thomas and Christopher's Great Aunt Pat, she bought them pumpkins to plant....so we planted them and now we wait. They most likely won't be FULL size pumpkins by Halloween, which is okay because they aren't FULL size kids yet! But let's hope we get at least little pumpkins for our little goblins to harvest! I'll keep you posted on their outcome!

Do I hear that Irish Clean Whistle?

I feel good....na na na na na na na...I knew that I would!
I went to see the doc today...got some stitches out, the rest have to wait until Monday....maybe if I feel really froggy I'll post a pic...but I wouldn't hold your breath! So I say to the nurse....When can I shower? I mean do I have to wait until Monday? And she looks at me like I am nuts and says You can shower right now....it's better for the skin graph to be moist....
ummm....seriously? I could have been showering all along? NICE! So she set me up with some little steri-strips on my cheek, I have more stitches there to come out on Monday as well...a little clean up, and on my merry way.
So we went for lunch to celebrate how great it's all looking, and I'm sure everyone got a nice peek and thought to themselves....eww I wonder what happened to her....Or they just thought, because of the area I live in, "Oh look, she just had a nose job"!
So I have all these really great stories all ready for when I have to go back to work, or people are actually brave enough to ask....things like "I was in this horrific car accident and the windshield went right through my face". Or "didn't you hear about that hit and run....yeah...that was me!" I know, I know, I'm bad....but it's better than saying "well, you know cancer, how it works, better to remove it and avoid the hassle". Okay it really just depends on who asks if I mess with them or not. But the real story gets old and boring after a while!
But I digress....really what I wanted you all to know....as soon as I got home....SHOWER!!! I got that Irish Clean feeling. I washed my hair, I even washed my face....even the part covered with stitches and steri-strips! And the sheets are tumbling as I speak...or type rather.
You know when you are camping for a week with no shower you don't think twice about it, everyone else around you stinks too....but when you have to sit in your own stink for a week, it's no fun! So it will be nice to sleep in a nice clean bed, with nice clean sheets! I will never take a shower for granted again!

What is that SMELL?

So I think that I have figured out why they tell you not to move around too much after surgery. They want you to lay flat on your back or be in bed, basically don't be out running marathons. Because you can't shower!!! Sheesh they won't even let you like wash off the dried blood around the stitching! YUM! So I guess I did time it right by having a keratin treatment on my hair on Monday afternoon because you can't wash your hair for 4 days! But then to have surgery on top of that, and they want me in bed, well it's now Thursday.....
It is Thursday right? Right. Okay I just wanted to make sure I didn't lose a day or something, or like sleep through a day. So I can't do much just lay around, and so I slept almost all day yesterday, had a nice mirgraine headache which produced a violent barfing syndrome....and that didn't help much with the smell, considering you sweat and snot all over when that happens! I have an appt tomorrow to get some stitches out, and like I told the Hubs, I am at least washing my hair tomorrow even if I have to take my mom's suggestion of putting a bag over my face HAHA
And I think when they tell you to just hang out in bed and do nothing, they should at least provide you with some movies or maybe a TV schedule of some cool things to watch, you know something other than Elmo or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Because I can't tell you the last time I was able to sit at home all day by myself and actually find something to watch on TV that I found interesting. The last time I was home alone like this, I was pregnant with Thomas, and at that time I was to obsessed with how I could get labor to start I didn't care what was on TV! So any suggestions out there? Any good movies I can rent?
So not only am I looking forward to being able to get up and around again, but I can't wait to wash these sheets, cuz *sniff* *sniff* Dang...

Wednesday Writings

Toddler Love

....I'll keep it short and sweet, just like my toddler....things my Toddler is teaching me.....
1.) Being cute, smiling and telling Mommy you love her will melt her heart and get you whatever you want

2.) Being silly in life and laughing at yourself is a MUST for a long life, and there is a bonus if you can crack mommy up while doing so!

3.) Being an Angel when we go anywhere in public and making people say 'OMG Your children are so cute, and so well behaved' makes mommy look good and literally beam with pride that people have to wear sunglasses to look at her!

4.) Throwing a hugely dramatic tantrum where you throw yourself violently on the floor and on the way to hitting the floor injure yourself, for one moment mommy will forget why you were tantruming and stop to kiss your boo boo...and if she doesn't walk towards her with the saddest face with huge ploppin tears and spit coming out of your mouth and say KISS IT MOMMY, and she will!

5.) Toddlers at the age of 2 years and 3 months still don't know how to say "I hate you mommy" so with that being said I will continue on in life knowing that my child loves me unconditionally! Even if I won't let him eat MnM's for dinner!
This has been brought to you by another week of writings at MamaKats head on over there to check out all the prompts this week!

Surgery Update

Surgery is over and done with, Thank God. The doc said he got 90% of everything and we will deal with the rest when we see what the results of this are, meaning healing and such!

Thomas looked at me strangely and when we said mommy has an owie he said yeah owie mommy. He doesn't seem to excited to give mommy kisses but he did anyway! And he does still ask for me and still want to be near me so that makes me feel better. Last night he sat on the bed with me and we watched utube videos from Elmo and the wiggles and stuff like that...okay so having the laptop probably helped! But hey he laid with me on the bed and that is all that mattered to me!

Christopher smiled at me and crawled on. He was being a little bit fussy and pushy last night, so he went to bed early! But those teeth of his are giving him all kinds of grief!

And look at my flowers!!! Aren't they beautiful? Thanks Maile, and Niels and Nalani!

Today I am relaxing in bed, Thank God for laptops huh? Swelling is up today and driving me nuts considering a big part of the leision they cut out was under my eye and onto my cheek, so it's kind of annoying to have all the swelling. And who would have thought that the full thickness skin graph they took behind the ear for the nose hurts more than anything else!!!
I go back on Friday to have some stitching removed and then again on Monday to have it all removed and hopefully by then I'll be feeling 100% better!!

Happy Birthday Baby!!

So while I am off running around in the O.R. of the UCLA medical center, the hubs is celebrating a birthday! Well sort of....we celebrated Friday night with dinner out, and we celebrated yesterday with dinner and then again tonight he got his presents from all of us at home. And Thomas sang or at least said Happy Birthday to you daddy! I think that was probably his best bday present yet!

Happy Birthday Baby....you are my everything, I Love you! And the boys told me to tell you that they love you even more!

SURPRISE

Thomas and Christopher got to go to their 1st Surprise party over the weekend! Uncle Dean turned 50!!! And boy was he surprised, we thought he was going to have a heartattack right there! No not really...but he was surprised and the boys sure did have fun!!

Who me? I didn't take the lollipop....
GRANDM GAVE IT TO ME! She did, honest!

There is the "old man" now. Aren't kids great when they get in that repeating stage? I am going to start calling Thomas Pete and Repeat! We were calling him "old Man Dean" and all of a sudden Thomas goes running after him and says "OLD MAN DEAN"! Leave it to Thomas to always be the life of the party!

Christopher loved hangin with Grandma, he got all kinds of sweet treats! Lollipops and Cake! I think Grandma is his new favorite person!

All Aunt Tami gave him was kisses and more kisses and hugs! Which are great but that cake was better! =)

All in all we had a great time, the boys love running around Aunt Tami and Uncle Dean's house...well Christopher was crawling around, and let me just say you just never really know how much is on the floor until a little one comes over to crawl huh Tami? We tried to get pics of that but Aunt Tami wouldn't let us!
So Daddy went back to work today after a week off with the boys....Grandma E. went in for surgery, and will have to stay over night. And Mommy goes in for surgery tomorrow morning. Uggh I think I'm just going to call in sick to my surgery! I hope to be back soon with reports of how everything goes!

Summer Vacay Day 3 - 4 wheelin'

So for Summer Vacay Day 3, Daddy went 4 wheelin' in the desert...look at the blue in that sky!

A little rock climbing and a little dirt tracks,
Some more rock climbing....although the Hubs says the pics did not do anything justice. The hills, the rocks, none of it could you get get a pic of that would do it justice!
While daddy was out playing with Jeeps and 4 wheelin' Mommy stayed at home with the boys! We played all morning, singing songs and drawing and playing and some time spent while Christopher was suffering with some teething issues. That second top tooth is about to make an appearence, and because of that he didn't nap until almost noon!!! Just wanted to sit and cry, even Thomas tried to calm him down. When that didn't work he looked at me and said "Brother crying Mommy" I said I know it, Poor little guy! At which time he tried to repeat "Poor Little Guy".
So the afternoon had plans of a haircut for Thomas but we never made it that far, his "stylist" was far to busy to get to him today so we'll see if we can squeeze him in tomorrow morning!
And Mommy and Daddy had a mini date night, going out to dinner with friends to celebrate the Hubs bday which is the 18th, and the same day of my surgery, so he won't have much of a bday!
And Tomorrow it's off to a surprise birthday! And then much of our Summer Vacay fun is over....Oh well, it was wonderful while it lasted, and hopefully if Mommy heals up real quick we can do some more fun things before she has to go back to work!

Summer Vacay Day 2 - The Fair

So today we took the boys to the Ventura Co. Fair. Thomas has been every year since he was born, and it's so fun to see how different he is each year. And for now, he's not into the rides, he's scared of them actually....I think it's because of the noise, he doesn't like anything loud, he's got sensitive hearing like his mommy. So I guess we should be happy that he isn't into the rides...keeps it cheap for us! Okay so not "cheap" but cheapER how's that?

"Hey Big Brother, what are you eating? Can I have some?"

"Sure Little Brother, here you go"
"Mmm, Kettle Corn"

Aww, how sweet, the boys are sharing and Daddy got it all on film....Wait...WHAT? Seriously did you just allow my oldest to give my youngest POPCORN???? And you sat and not only watched but you took pictures??? I told him not to deny it because it was all on film. He laughed and said no it wasn't kettle corn it was puffs.....well it didn't look like that! What happens with the Brothers stays with the Brothers I guess, because neither one is talking!

So of course another Fair favorite for the kids.....COTTON CANDY! Yes I gave my two year old cotton candy....don't judge!
Look how he loves it!! He first had it here, and he didn't know what to do with it, so Mommy had to show him, and it was love at first taste!

And it didn't take him long to remember that sugary goodness!

Even Christopher had a taste...of course he loved it as well, that kid is like Mikey, he'll eat anything!!!

And who could go to the County Fair and not see the animals! Thomas was inpressed with all the porkers....this one looks like she has a make up artist who draws on her eye brows! He did have an opportunity to pet one, but he passed, and they even offered up a little lick since he had been eating his cotton candy and again he passed...I don't blame him, I would too!

And he didn't mind the goats and sheep, and he didn't pay one single ounce of attention to the small animals like the rabbits and guinea pigs! But those Cows....he. did. not. like! I think they were too big for him but he wouldn't stand near one for a pic, he wouldn't even let us put him next to one in the stroller, he just kept saying "I don't want it". But he did MOO at a couple!

And of course another reason he loves the fair....he gets a hold of a soda! Again, don't judge! It's not something he usually gets, but he sure was lovin' him some of that today!
And despite all the soda, junk food and sugary goodness, they still crashed and crashed hard on the way home!
So it was yet another fun filled exciting day on our Summer Vacay. Tomorrow Daddy is going 4 wheeling in the Jeep and it will be a Mommy and her boys day, one thing that is on the agenda is a haircut for Thomas!!! I'm sure we'll have some great desert and 4 wheelin' shots from daddy to post tomorrow! Stay tuned!
