Turkey Day

We had a whole lot of fun this turkey day. Normally we go to the river and spend Thanksgiving but with Christopher being so young we decided to stay at home. So Grandma S. took the train up and stayed a couple days with us. Thomas thought that was just great! He got a lot of play time in with Grandma S. And the minute Christopher woke up to see Grandma S. here he was just full of smiles for her....and of course the minute I got the camera....Stone Face! HA

On Turkey day Steven BBQed the turkey and it came out just perfect!!! Juicy, tender and full of taste! We had Aunt Pat come for dinner as well as Grandma S being there, it was fun....small and quaint, definitely not what we are used to but it was just perfect!

The day after Turkey day we opted to get some holiday pics of the boys for their Christmas cards instead of go shopping....that's just NUTS!! So of course Christopher slept through the pic session, and as soon as I got the cards ordered he woke up! Figures!! Oh well they came out really cute....you'll have to wait to see those pics.
Our Yummy turkey... tell me that doesn't just make your mouth water!
Mommy's little Turkey!!! He was all decked out in his Baby's 1st Thanksgiving outfit! When I got the outfit, I thought to myself, there is no way this is going to fit him by Turkey day....WOW did he grow fast!!

Grandma S. Hangin with Thomas after dinner!
Grandma S telling Christopher secrets!

There is stone face now....just moments before this he was smiling up a storm!!!

Thomas is a Hero

Well at least he is to this little lizzie that lives in our backyard....we have a ton of them, but this one seemed to get stuck in a planter that filled with water with the rains, and Thomas saved him. He couldn't get out and was literally just "chillin" in the water. So with Dad's help he was able to get out and onto the wall to lounge in the sun, isn't he cute?

So Cute!!!

Thomas was napping the other day and he had been sleeping so long that I decided to go in and wake him, usually I just open the door and he will wake up shortly after that....but when I walked in to look in his crib I almost woke him up laughing. And he was OUT! Snoring and everything! He woke up shortly after and his hair was all sweaty!
Thomas and Christopher having a heart to heart...Christopher was almost smiling and right after this Thomas gave him a really nice wet, snotty kiss!! Christopher didn't mind, he loves his big brother!

Here is my blue eyed beautiful boy!!

I've been trying to catch this adorable smile on camera for at least 3 weeks now. But the minute you pull out the camera he is stone faced and looking at the camera! Well it's a little off center and I cut off part of his cheek but I got the smile!!!!! Tell me it doesn't just make you want to smile!!!

I'm Flying

I can remember when I was little my mom would do the "airplane" with us, I think it was part of the reason she was in such good shape, lifting us up, sheesh she had her own personal gym with us kids around. Anyway, I was never very good at it because I couldn't keep my body straight but my brother, Tom, whom Thomas is named after, was excellent at it....and it seems Thomas will be great at it as well. I just can't straighten my legs all the way because he's still a little wiggly. And I can't put my feet side by side because his torso is still too small.....but we tried!!

Play date with the Z's

We had another play date! This time with the Z's, Brandon and Serena. They had a whole lot of fun running around in the grass after Daddy came to the rescue and picked up kittie poop off the lawn. I wanted to get some video to share but Christopher woke up and while I was getting him taken care of, the kids came inside.

Thomas and Brandon posing for the camera!

I think they were trying to play Red Rover all by themselves, I couldn't really tell, I don't speak Toddler Talk!
Serena showing the love for her brother!

Uncle Ponch feeding Christopher, he couldn't wait for both boys to wake up from their naps!

Serena, Thomas and Brandon playing king of the ottoman, and Serena kept winning! It pays to be the older sister!

Serena holding Christopher, Aunt Melani had to help hold his big head!

And at the end of the day, both my boys love sitting on Aunt Melani's lap!

Doctor's Updates

Well now that about 90% of everyone following the blog got Thomas and Christopher's baby pics wrong, we can move on to bigger and better things. HA

First let's start by saying that the Titans are 9 - 0 this week!!! (Sorry we beat the point spread...AGAIN, Todd HAHAHA)

We went to the doc on Friday, Christopher got his first set of shots and Thomas got a flu shot. Christopher did great, he cried when they gave him the shot and once Mommy held him he calmed down and was fine in just minutes, what a trooper. Thomas cried but I think he cried more so because they have to hold him down than from the pain of the actual shot, but he got a sucker afterwards and that seemed to be okay with him.

Thomas was 32 1/2 inches and 25 lbs. Christopher was 23 inches and 12lbs 14oz. Thomas is in the 75th percentile and Christopher is in the 90th percentile. And looking back into Thomas' baby book, when he was 9 weeks he had 1/2 inch and 1/2 pound on Christopher.

Both are healthy, although Christopher still seems to have this horrible cough, the doc says his lungs are clear! So now we go back again in a month for Christopher's 3 month check up and Thomas' 18 month check up, I'll keep you posted!

AAA Play Date

Christopher had his 1st play date with all the 2008 AAA babies!
Christopher is the youngest, and I'm sure as they grow up they will pick on him, but there is one thing that Christopher has that they don't....a BIG BROTHER!!
Jayden is the oldest, he is in the middle, he is 6 weeks older than Christopher and Julian, on the right, is a month older than Christopher.
Of course when they got here, when one baby cried they all did. Then Julian had to eat, and when he was done eating then Jayden had to eat, and then of course after that Christopher got tired and was falling asleep so we didn't get the greatest of pics but I am sure we'll get plenty more the next time!!

It's difficult to get 3 non-sitting babies to sit together on the couch, but they look like pros don't they??

Christopher with his Butter Bean face!

He looks so peaceful laying against Jayden.....Lean on me!!

Special Posting....

This is a special posting just for my cousin Todd in Oregon! I just have one word for you....UNDEFEATED!!

See me and the boys in this house are TITANS fans....and they are 8-0 for the season so far. But my cousin insists on betting AGAINST them every week. So keep betting against them, I think it's helping them to win!!! They are in Chicago this weekend, think they will go 9-0??
