Pull Ups...

And no we aren't talking the diapers! Thomas must be really into working out, every night he goes up to his high chair and does his pull ups and if we aren't at home, say if we are at Grandma's house, he does his pull ups on her table. I guess he wants to keep his figure!

Cruisan the Mexican Rivera

We just got back from our Mexican Rivera cruise. 7 days of sea and surf and warm weather and lots and lots of fun! There is a lot to report....

Let's see, Thomas had a great time dispite not sleeping well at night. He was such a good boy! He popped his next tooth on February 14th, the top left! We are waiting patiently, or should I say painfully in Thomas' case, for the top right to come in!

We tried all kinds of new foods! We had pineapples, and we had sourdough rolls, sherbet, and ice cream, yogurt and even had "Figments of his imagination" food too, you'll have to watch the video on that! We were sitting at dinner, and Thomas was sitting on Daddy's lap watching him eat, so after dad would take the food off the fork he would offer the fork for Thomas to have some too, even though there was nothing on there, it was amusing to say the least!

I couldn't believe that just about everyone would stop and talk to Thomas, not only would they talk to him, but they would touch him, which I thought was weird. He ate it up and flirted with all the ladies of course! And one lady said they should have a "Cutiest baby on the ship" because he would win! All the waiters knew him and called him by name and when we were late showing up to dinner one night, our waiter was worried he wasn't coming!

All in all we had a great time! You'll have to check out a bunch of the photos from the trip.

Here is Thomas' new toy box! Thanks Grandma!! It will look really great in my room! And I just love to play in it, maybe I'll just play in it for now and put toys in it later!

Before I was a Mom

Before I was a Mom - I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on, Pooped on, Chewed on, Peed on.

I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom - I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests, Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.

I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom - I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put him down.

I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much.

I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom -I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom - I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.

I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

And now that I am a Mom, I Love it, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I love it so much, that I am going to be a mom again!!!! Yep that is right, our next little bundle of joy is due October 4th! So keep checking back for updates!!

The annoying thing...

Now this is really funny! Daddy introduced Thomas to "The Annoying Thing" and he just loves to watch it, he dances around he has a big smile on his face and we've got a video of him dancing just before bed watching his little annoying frog. If you have a chance to watch the annoying thing video it's fun, and maybe you'll find your own toes tapping along like Thomas'!

What a slacker....

WOW What a slacker I have become! I noticed that I haven't updated the blog in so long! Well I do have several things that I will be posting in the next few days. I have just been so busy! Between working 2 jobs, sleeping, and spending time with Steven and Thomas, it leaves little time for my own blog. But I have been helping my friend Brooke, who is about to pop, with her blog, so when you get a chance check out her blog!
